Deep South Salsa

Load all of the following ingredients into your food processor or blender:

4-5 small to medium ripe, sweet, tomatoes chopped
(straight from your garden is best!)

2 cans of diced tomatoes
(mexican flavored - we used the kroger brand Fire Roasted with garlic & jalapeno)

2 Tbsp red wine vinegar

1 Tbsp cumin

4 cloves of garlic chopped

1 jalapeno chopped and seeded
(we only used one because we wanted it mild but you could add more)

1 Vidalia Onion chopped
(this is important because Vidalias are sweeter but in a pinch I'm sure you could use a yellow onion)

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro

A dash of cayanne pepper (don't overdo it!)


Mix it up and make sure you have a bag of chips!
